What changed on October 27
Western Switch, Switch 2, and PS5 editions shipped that day with English, French, and Spanish text. On Steam, the same languages were added to the game that had already been on sale since July 29.
The Japanese publisher’s Patch 1.30 note covers every platform. It also says the Windows build of that patch was reported available by the October 27, 13:00 update to the Japanese notice; no exact release minute is given.
How to switch the Steam language
The publisher’s Steam post says the display language is stored per save. Change it in the Steam properties before you launch. A save that has already started cannot switch; you open a new save.
If you pick a language the build does not support, the post says the game falls back to Japanese.
Older pages that still say English is missing
Some guide sites still say Steam does not list English. Those pages predate Patch 1.30. The store language table and the October 27 news post are the later sources.
Sources and verification
Source review updated 2026-10-28. Publisher statements and store listings may share a source; two links alone do not establish independent confirmation. Unless an independent cross-check is explicitly identified, treat a named publisher or store claim as a single-source statement. Access restrictions and disagreements are marked in the article.
