There is not one release date. Steam lists July 29, 2026. The Japanese site lists July 30, 2026 for Japan and Asia. English text and the Western console launch are October 27, 2026.

Why the dates disagree
Steam’s release_date field is July 29, 2026. Nippon Ichi’s consumer page writes July 30, 2026 for the Japanese and Asian launch on Switch 2, Switch, PS5, Steam, and Windows.
Game8 splits that further into a Japanese PC date of July 29 and a console date of July 30. This page does not average those into a single “official day.”
October 27 is the Western console release and the day English, French, and Spanish text reached Steam. It is not the first day the game existed.
The trial that is not a demo
On September 7, 2026 a five-hour trial appeared on Japanese PS5 for PS Plus Premium members. NIS America does not list a public demo.

Is the game releasing on October 27?
Western consoles and the English text update did. Steam and Japan were already on sale in July.
What time does it unlock?
Only Game8 publishes 12:00 p.m. ET. No second source confirmed that clock time.
When did sales hit 250,000 in Japan?
The publisher’s September 29, 2026 announcement. Earlier milestones were 100,000 on August 3, 150,000 on August 10, and 200,000 on September 2.
Was there a Famitsu score?
Nippon Ichi says the July 23, 2026 Famitsu cross review placed it in the Gold Hall. A numeric score is not in that announcement.
